Inscribed by Strettell on front endpaper. Red boards; somewhat scuffed and marked; corners worn. Blk leather spine; slightly rubbed; gilt titling still quite bright. Binding tight. Very occasional spotting, but pp generally clear and supple. There is a 25pp paginated section, preceded an unpaginated 16pp section. This is one of 27 copies reprinted by Strettell ca 1820 (the book is undated, but the British library suggests 1820) from the rare 1832 edition, published by William Cooke. A small cutting from a bookseller's catalogue, on the verso of the front endpaper, and which refers to this very copy, states: "Very few copies reprinted from the extremely rare edition of 1832 by Mr. Strettell, by whom this copy was presented to Mr. Heber". And the handwritten inscription, in a neat copperplate, on the facing page, reads, "To Richard Heber Esq, with Mr Stettell's compliments".; 8vo (5" x 8"); 25 pages; Signed by Editor
