Both vols: leather boards; very worn and rubbed. Bindings intact, but front joint of Vol I repaired with cloth tape; and Vol II backstrip partially detached, and front joint partially exposed. Vol I: pp supple, and generally clean. B/w frontispiece; large fold-out colour plan of The Field of Waterloo - large horizontal tear on RH side, but no losses; fold-out colour plan of the Campaign in the Netherlands, June 1815. Vol II is a compendium of several different publications: first, 3 fold-out colour plans of Waterloo, Ligny + Quatre Bras, and Waterloo at different times in the battle - intact, but fragile, preceding Additional Particulars to the Ninth and Preceding Editions, of the Battle of Waterloo, with Circumstantial Details by A Near Observer...
